It’s no surprise she asks, “Are you alone?” It would seem that someone capable of this behavior is not generally allowed out in public on their own. I’m horrified, too, at the woman who comforts Elphick. I’ll say that again - she’s not in the least worried about charging someone in a store multiple times, screaming like a banshee, or throwing herself on the floor. Regardless of Elphick’s mental state, anyone who has the wherewithal to get to a mall and use a cell phone to call police, can and should be held accountable for their actions.Īll that said, the most disgusting display here is not the lack of remorse (though let’s face it, that’s pretty bad), but Elphick’s concern at being on camera. Moreover, unlike Ukenta, I’m not letting the staff off the hook for failing to kick her out of the store. After watching the video, I’m mystified that Elphick wasn’t escorted from the mall by security immediately after chasing Ukenta around a Victoria’s Secret. This incredible breakdown happened at a Victoria's Secret in Millburn, NJ. A woman who's being labeled "Victoria's Secret Karen" broke down in tears and pretended to pass out as she was being recorded by another woman.
